What a standard home clean covers
- Kitchen: counters, backsplash, cabinet fronts, sink and faucet, stovetop and hood, outside of appliances, microwave inside and out
- Bathrooms: toilet inside and out, shower, tub and tile, sink and counter, mirrors, chrome polished
- Bedrooms: beds made, dusting including sills and baseboards, mirrors, floors
- Living areas: dusting high and low, surfaces and shelves, glass and mirrors, cushions straightened
- Throughout: light switches, handles, door frames, baseboards, cobwebs
- Floors vacuumed and mopped edge to edge, trash out
Worth knowing
- The first visit usually takes longer than the ones after it. Homes that have not been professionally cleaned before often start with a deep clean.
- Inside the oven, inside the refrigerator, interior windows, laundry and organizing are add-ons — ask for them when you request your quote.
- Tell us about pets, alarm codes, parking and anything you would rather we did not touch. We would rather ask than guess.
- Do I need to be home?
- No. Most of our regular customers are at work. We agree how we get in — a key, a code, a lockbox — and we confirm when we are done.
- How often should I book?
- Every two weeks suits most households. Weekly makes sense with young children, pets or a large home. Monthly works if you keep on top of things between visits.
